EXO’s Chanyeol Criticized For Calling SNSD’s Bare Face’s Ugly

EXO-K’s Chanyeol is definitely getting some steam after netizens uncovered a Cyworld post he created in 2008 commenting about how ugly the bare faces of the SNSD members were.

Before the Sones begin to rage with anger, please take into consideration of the fact that Chanyeol had commented on SNSD’s appearance was back when he was still a teenager and pre-debut.

His post reads,

“Ah ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I went to SM and met SNSD ㅋㅋㅋ
They were all bare faced so they were ugly
But Taeyeon looked hot………….
She’s fu*king pretty
But not as pretty as Hoyeon”

Judging by the previous posts on his Cyworld, Hoyeon is speculated to be a previous girlfriend of his.

Although fans first claimed that the post was photoshopped, netizens managed to trace back the post made on an SM cafe of that year with a lot of other posts made by Chanyeol to the point where he announced that he was accepted as an SM trainee.

Although fans are definitely enraged with Chanyeol’s statement, I’d like you all to realize the fact that Chanyeol was only around 17 years old when he made this post. Teenagers are definitely prone to less popular opinions, and tend to voice our their thoughts more. Before becoming idols, they were all once teenagers like you and I were, are, or will become.

I hope Sones won’t try to turn this into another Jay Park situation, in which the former 2PM member quit 2PM after netizens discovered his posts about how he hated Korea.
